Children shouldn’t use essential oils unless there is a health condition, and then only use oils that are recommended for children.Keep any blends away from the eyes – but should it accidentally happen, rinse the eye out and seek medical attention. Don’t use oils “neat” onto a child’s skin unless there is a specific reason and you have been instructed to.Do not give oils to children orally. If your child does swallow any oil, give them milk and do not delay, take your child for medical attention and bring the oil with you.If your child has epilepsy, these oils are to be avoided and please speak with your doctor about using oils at all. Avoid – sweet fennel, rosemary, camphor, sage, and hyssop. There are oils which calm and these are safest – neroli, jasmine, rose otto, chamomile, geranium, lavender, and petitgrain. If your child is on medication and you use essential oils, cut the oil recommendation down to half. These oils are to be avoided if going into the sun. Tangerine, lime, orange, bergamot, mandarin, lemon, and grapefruit.
While essential oils can be beneficial to children, it is, of course, recommended that you consult an aromatherapist or physician. A small amount of tangerine placed “neat” on the palm can be way too much oil. The weight, age and health of your child are matters to consider with any essential oil, as it is for any medication.

There are many reasons to use essential oils in your candles a few of them are

- Provides benefit for its purpose, uplifting, calming, or sleep
- The scent is clear and exact
- The scent lasts the duration of the product it is used in.
We would like to ask you which wax you prefer. Many prefer soy wax because it burns longer, but this wax is also the reason there is cause for concern with natural habitat and is claimed to be a GMO product that is heavily sprayed with pesticides. Alternatively, Paraffin wax also burns a long time but it said to emit toxins. However, the Candle association has debunked the rumours that either wax is harmful to burn or breath in. http://candles.org/4-common-candle-myths-debunked/
